Synetta Harlan, an experienced professional with a background in business management and accounting, as well as a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (CESMT), operates Equine Balance in Milton, WV. With over 6 years of entrepreneurial experience, she manages a 26-acre farm where she cares for her five horses. Prior to transitioning to the Equine Industry, Synetta spent 18 years at a Fortune 500 company, overseeing a monthly profit and loss statement of $5.6 million and leading a team of 27 employees across West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky. She pursued her education in business management and accounting while employed at this NASDAQ-listed corporation.
Driven by her passion for equines, Synetta decided to commit full-time to the Equine Industry and became a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. She further expanded her expertise by obtaining certifications in additional modalities, including PEMF, Cold Laser Therapy, Thermal Imaging, and CryoTherapy. Continuously seeking to enhance her skills, she collaborates with local veterinarians, farriers, and professionals at the New Bolton Center Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania Vet School. Synetta actively mentors and supports emerging bodyworkers in the field, striving to introduce new opportunities to the tri-state area.
In addition to her academic achievements, Synetta holds a certification from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
